SSC MTS & Havaldar Recruitment 2023 – 11409 Posts
Here is good news for 10th pass aspirants who are looking for MTS & Havaldar job opportunities through the Staff Selection Commission. SSC has recently released SSC MTS Notification 2023 for SSC Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff, and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination, 2022 on 18th January 2023 to recruit 11409 posts.
Out of vacancies, 10880 posts are announced for MTS posts and remains 529 posts are reserved for Havaldar.
The online registration for SSC MTS 2023 has started with the release date of SSC MTS Notification 2023 and the last date to apply online is 18th February 2023 (6 pm).
SSC MTS Notification 2023 Overview

Details of Vacancies & Eligibility Criteria
It is mandatory for the candidates, who intend to fill up the application form, to adhere to the following eligibility conditions -
Vacancies -
- Tentative vacancies for the posts are as under: MTS : 10880 (approx.)
- Havaldar in CBIC and CBN : 529*

Minimum Qualification -
The candidates must have passed the Matriculation Examination or equivalent from a recognized Board.
Age Limit (01.01.2023) -
- 18-25 years (i.e. candidates born not before 02-01-1998 and not later than 01-01-2005).
- 18-27 years (i.e. candidates born not before 02-01-1996 and not later than 01-01-2005).

Selection Process:
The SSC MTS Exam consists of two phases, i.e.-
- Tier-1 CBT (Objective Type)
- Tier-2 Descriptive Paper
Tier-1 CBT Exam Pattern -
- Paper-I will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions.
- The questions will be set both in English & Hindi for Paper-II, III & IV.
- There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Candidates are, therefore, advised to keep this in mind while answering the questions.
- Marks scored in Paper-1 will be used to determine the final merit list and cut-off marks.

Tier-2 Exam Pattern (Descriptive Paper) -
- The descriptive type in ‘Pen and Paper’ Mode in which the candidates will be required to write a short essay or letter in English or any language included.
- Paper-II will be qualifying in nature and will test your elementary language skills.
