SSC Phase-8 Selection Posts Vacancy Notification 2020

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts this examination under an open-recruitment process every year to select deserving candidates on various posts including Lab Assistant, MTS, Technical Assistant, Legal Assistant, Pharmacist, Jr. Engineer, Technician, Sr. Geographical Assistant, and many more. 

The SSC has released online applications for the Phase-VIII Selection Post Recruitment 2020. It’s a wonderful opportunity to get a government job under SSC with a good salary. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the available vacancies till 20th March 2020. Eligibility Criteria:

Before applying for the recruitment, you need to ensure your eligibility. In case of any misinformation filled in the application form, your candidature can be cancelled at any step-

Age Limit-

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 30 Years

Age relaxation is applicable for candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/ PWD and Ex-S categories.

Educational Qualification-

10^th/12^th/Graduation or Above (Varies as per post designations)

Selection Process:

The selection criteria will be the same as the previous year examination, consisting of-

• Computer Based Test (Objective Type)
• Skill Test/ Interview

It will be best practice to go through the SSC Selection Post Exam Pattern and Syllabus to prepare for the CBT.

Application Fee:

• Fee can be paid via online mode through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, Credit or Debit cards.
• The application fee will also be accepted in the form of SBI bank generated fee Challan.
• Fee once paid will not be refunded or used for another registration under any circumstances.

How to Apply?

Here is the simple procedure to submit your online application form-

• Visit the official website of the commission i.e. ssc.nic.in.
• Now, click on the ‘Apply’ icon at the home-page.
• From ‘Others’, click on the link for ‘Apply for Phase-VIII / 2019 / Selection Posts’.
• If you are a registered user, you’ll be redirected to the login page where you can enter your credentials and log in to the portal.
• For new users, you need to register yourself first.
• Fill up the registration form and note down the credentials allotted to you.
• Now, fill-up the proper details in the application form.
• Upload the scanned files of your signature, photograph, and other required documents.
• Pay the application fee amount via any of the provided payment modes.
• Keep the printout of the fee-receipt and application form for future reference and Submit the form.
