The Staff Selection Commission has recently released the online application forms for the SSC Stenographer Group C and D recruitment exam on its official website. SSC Stenographer Recruitment 2020 - Important Details

The Staff Selection Commission will hold an Open Competitive Computer Based Examination for recruitment to the posts of Stenographer Grade C (Group B, Non-Gazetted) and Stenographer Grade D (Group C) for various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations in the Government of India. The Online application forms for the recruitment have been uploaded on the online portal of the Commission. The number of vacancies available is yet to be announced.

SSC Group C & D Vacancies 2020 - Eligibility Criteria

The number of vacancies will be determined in due course. The updated vacancy position will be uploaded on the website of the Commission from time to time. The candidates applying for the recruitment must ensure that they fulfill all the required eligibility conditions of the recruitment process, as mentioned here-

Education Qualification -

Candidates must have a 12^th Pass or equivalent examination certificate from a recognized board or university. Only those candidates who have the required skills in stenography are eligible to apply.

Age Limit -

• Minimum Age Limit: 18 years
• Maximum Age for Group D: 27 years
• Maximum Age for Group C: 30 years

Selection Process:

The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the -

• Computer Based Test
• Skill Test

Those who will qualify in the CBT and will be eligible as per merit, they will be called for Skill Test. All those candidates who qualify in the skill test will be recommended for appointment by the Commission on the basis of total marks in the CBT.

Application Fees:

• General/ OBC Candidates: Rs. 100/-
• Fee can be paid through BHIM UPI, Net Banking or by using Visa MasterCard, Maestro RuPay Credit, or Debit cards or in cash at SBI Branch by generating SBI Challan.
• SC/ST/Women/Ex-servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fees.

• Firstly, you need to visit the official website of SSC i.e. ssc.nic.in.
• Now, go to the ‘Apply Online’ section at the home page and click on ‘Steno 'C' & 'D'.
• Then, click on Apply and login with your username and password and fill your details.
• Pay the prescribed amount of fees and upload the required documents.
• Submit the application form.
