1. Rajasthan Financial Corporation (RFC) was formed on 17 January 1955 under the SFCs Act, 1951.

2. The headquarters of RFC is located in Jaipur.

3. RFC provides long term financial assistance to small, scale and medium industries in the state of Rajasthan.

4. Rajasthan Financial Corporation has 37 branches and 5 sub-offices in 33 districts of the state.

1. Rajasthan is one of the only states in the country to have a special Japanese investment zone at Neemrana in Alwar district, 130 kilometers from Jaipur.

2. About 545 acres of industrial land is reserved in Majarkath-Neemrana for Japanese investment.

3. Most of the investments are in the auto sector. The total investment of 27 companies is Rs 2539.60 crore.

In the context of Rajasthan, “Plug and Play Facility” means establishment of manufacturing industrial units.

In the year 1953, Asia's largest cement factory was established in Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan. Its name is "Jaipur Udyog Limited". This factory started in 1959 and remained operational till 1986. The factory employed 2,500 workers and produced 1.2 million tonnes of cement per year.

At present, district level economic system is being adopted in the field of economic planning in Rajasthan. All districts are being targeted for reform to achieve overall development of the state.

According to Animal Census-2019, the total population of animals in Rajasthan was 56.8 million.
