TRB Tripura STPGT Recruitment 2022 – Registration Start for 300 Posts

The good news for Indian Nationals having permanent residence in Tripura, who want a government job as a Post Graduate Teacher. 

At the latest, the Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB) Tripura has issued the recruitment notification for the post of "Post Graduate Teacher (For Class Xl-Xll)" through "Selection Test for Post Graduate Teacher(STPGT) - 2022" under the Secondary Education Directorate, Education (School) Department, Government of Tripura.

TRB Tripura PGT Recruitment 2022 | Overview

A total of 300 vacancies have been released for the PGT posts in Tripura. All posts are permanent and the period of probation is 2-years.

Eligibility Criteria:

Subject-wise vacancy position is as follows:

Qualification -

Post Graduate in relevant subject/ allied subject (equivalency of which to be determined by equivalent committee) with at least 50% marks (or its equivalent) from recognized University and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from NCTE recognized institution.

Or

Post Graduate in relevant subject/allied subject (equivalency of which to be determined by equivalent committee) with at least 45% marks (or its equivalent) from recognized University and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from National Council for Teacher Education recognized institution {by the National Council for Teacher Education (Form of application for recognition, the time limit of submission of application, determination of norms and standards for recognition of teacher education programs and permission to start a new course or training ) Regulations, 2002 notified on 13.11.2002 and National Council for Teacher Education (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2007 notified on 10.12.2007).

Or

Post Graduate in relevant subject/allied subject (equivalency of which to be determined by equivalent committee) with at least 50% marks (or its equivalent) from recognized University and B.A. Ed. / B.Sc. Ed. from any NCTE-recognized institution.

Age Limit -

• The age of the candidates must not exceed 40 years to apply for the recruitment.
• Upper age relaxation of 5 years is given for the SC/ST/PH candidates.

Selection Process:

• The selection will be done based on marks obtained in the selection test for Post Graduate Teacher (STPGT)-2022 and vacancy position as per this notification subject to the scrutiny of certificates/ documents/ Mark sheets & correctness of the information given by the candidate in the online application form.
• Minimum 50% marks (75 out of 150) is to be obtained in the test with 5% relaxation (68 out of 150) for sc/sr/pH candidates
• The Syllabus of the test is available on the website of TRBT.

Application Fee:

The candidates who will be submitting the application form must also pay an application fee while the online application. The application fee details for each post will be as follows.
