UKSSSC New Vacancy 2021: 1521 Constable & Fireman

The Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC) has released an official notification for Constable (Male), Fireman (Male/ Female) posts under the Uttarakhand Police Department. Interested candidates can apply online by visiting on Commission's website (www.sssc.uk.gov.in) till 16th February 2022.

• The selection process for recruitment will be conducted in two phases. There will be a written examination in the first phase, and the shortlisted candidates will be called for the physical test.
• A total of 1521 vacancies have been notified under the recruitment, 1076 posts for Constable and 445 posts for Fireman.

Eligibility Criteria for UKSSSC Recruitment 2021

The vacancy details and the required eligibility conditions are mentioned in the table below -

Note: The number of vacancies can be decreased or increased.

Nationality -

The candidate must be a citizen of India.

Age limit (as on 01.07.2021) -

• Minimum Age Limit: 18 Years
• Maximum Age Limit for Constable: 22 Years
• Maximum Age Limit for Fireman: 25 Years
• Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Selection Process:

The candidates will be selected on the following basis -

• Written exam
• Physical test

Exam Pattern -

• The questions asked in the question paper will be of objective-type (Multiple Choice Questions).
• For each correct answer, 1 mark will be allotted and for each wrong answer, 1/4^th mark will be deducted.

Physical Standards -

For Constable:

• Height
• General/ OBC/ SC: 165 Cms
• Mountainous Region: 160 Cm
• For ST: 157.5 Cm

Chest (For Male Only):

• General/ OBC/ SC: Normal-78.8 Cm, Expanded-83.8 Cm
• Mountainous Region/ ST: Normal-76.3 Cm, Expanded-81.3 Cm

For Fireman (Female):

• Height
• General/ OBC/ SC: 152 Cms
• Mountainous Region/ ST: 147 Cm

For Fireman (Male):

• Height
• General/ OBC/ SC: 168 Cms
• Mountainous Region: 160 Cm
• For ST: 157.5 Cm

Chest (For Male Only): 

• Normal-81.3 Cm, Expanded-86.3 Cm
