UPSC CAPF (ACs) Recruitment 2023 – 322 Vacancies

CAPF Admit Card 2023: UPSC has released CAPF Admit Card 2023 for 322 posts at the UPSC official website on 14th July 2023, for which the direct link is also provided in this article.

Dear Aspirants, Union Public Service Commission has released the UPSC Notification for Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Exam 2023 on its official website. A total of 322 posts are to be filled in various departments such as:

1. Border Security Force (BSF)
2. Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF)
3. Central Industrial Security Force (CISF)
4. Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP)
5. Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB)

Both Male and Female Graduates who want to join UPSC can apply online before 16th May 2023. Commission will be conducting the written exam for UPSC CAPF Assistant Commandants post on August 06, 2023

Candidate's selection will be done on the basis of Written Examination/Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency Tests and Medical Standards Tests followed by Interview/Personality Tests.

UPSC CAPF AC Eligibility

The UPSC has released the detailed eligibility criteria for UPSC CAPF 2023 through the detailed UPSC CAPF Notification 2023. Check complete UPSC CAPF Eligibility details from the below section. 

Age Relaxation -

• Maximum 5 years of relaxation for SC / ST.
• Maximum 3 years of relaxation for OBC.
• Maximum 5 years of relaxation for ex-servicemen

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected on the following basis: -

• Written exam
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
• Personality test/interview
• Final Section / Merit

Written exam -

The first phase examination will be held on 06 August 2023, it will consist of 2 papers.

• Paper I: General Ability and Intelligence will be asked objective-type questions in Hindi and English for 250 marks.
• Paper II: General Studies, Essay, and Comprehension will have 200 marks.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) -

Candidates who score minimum qualifying marks in the written examination will be sent for the medical standard test.

Personality Test (Interview) -

Candidates who are declared qualified in the medical standard test will be called for the interview conducted by the UPSC.

• The interview test will be 150 marks.

Final Section -

The merit list will be made based on the marks obtained by the candidate in the written examination and interview.

Ans. The candidates who appear in the final year of their degree course can also apply for the exam but they have to produce the final year mark sheet of the qualifying exam with the detailed application form.
