UPSC NDA 1 Result 2023 Out: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the UPSC NDA 1 Result 2023 for the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (NDA-I) Exam on 01st May 2023 at the UPSC official website. 

UPSC has published the NDA Result 2023 in PDF format with the roll numbers of candidates qualifying in the written test. The candidates whose roll numbers are mentioned in the UPSC NDA Result PDF are qualified to appear in the interview round which is to be conducted by Services Selection Board (SSB).

Last year, UPSC has released National Defence Academy & Naval Academy (10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme)-I for the year 2022. Candidates will selected by two mode i.e. Written Exam & Interview for intelligence and personality test.

Steps to Check UPSC NDA 1 Result 2023

Follow the steps given below and check your UPSC NDA Result 2023 at upsc.gov.in.

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Union Public Service Commission @upsc.gov.in or click on the NDA result link mentioned above.

Step 2: On the home page, navigate to the “Written Results”.

Step 3: It will redirect you to the new page, click on “Examination Written Results”.

Step 4: Now, Click on the “National Defence Academy 1 2023” link.

Step 5: The result PDF of the UPSC NDA Exam will open.

Step 6: Now, use Ctrl+F and enter your Registration Number/ Roll No to check your name in the list.

Step 7: Download the UPSC NDA 1 Result 2023 PDF for future reference.

Note: The UPSC NDA mark sheets of the candidates will be put on the Commission’s website within fifteen (15) days from the date of publication of the final result. (After concluding SSB Interviews) and will remain available on the website for a period of thirty (30) days.

How the Scores of Candidates are Calculated?

UPSC follows the marking scheme while calculating the scores of candidates. NDA marking scheme is given below:

• In General Ability Test (GAT), candidates get four marks for correct answers
• In the Mathematics section, for correct answers candidates score 2.5 marks
• For wrong answers, 0.33 marks are deducted

Formula for Score Calculation

GAT- Number of correct answers x 4 – Number of incorrect answers x 0.33

Mathematics - Number of correct answers x 2.5 – Number of incorrect answers x 0.33
