UPSC Notification 2021 - Apply Online for Deputy Director Recruitment!!
Dear Candidates,
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited online applications from eligible female and male candidates for recruitment to the total 151 vacant posts of Deputy Director in Employees' State Insurance Corporation, Ministry of Labor and Employment.

Selection Process:
The competitive exam consists of two stages:-
- Computer Based Recruitment Test (CBRT) / Recruitment Test (RT)
- Interview
1. Scheme of the RT -
(i) The test will be of two hours duration and will comprise two parts A and B. Part-A contains English and Part-B contains General Ability. The questions in Part-B of the paper will be set both in Hindi and English.
(ii) All questions will carry equal marks.
(iii) The test will be objective-type questions with multiple choices of answers.
(iv) There will be penalty for wrong answers. Every wrong answer will carry a deduction of
one-third of the marks assigned to that question. If no answer is marked for a question,
there will be no penalty for that question.
2. Syllabus of the RT -
The syllabus of the Test broadly comprises the following topics:-
PART - A
To test the candidate's understanding of English language & workmanlike use of words.
PART - B
i) Principles of Human Resource Management.
ii) Principles of Marketing Management.
iii) Principles of Accounting & Financial Management.
iv) Right to Information Act.
v) Numerical Ability & Logical Reasoning.
vi) Fundamentals of Computer Application.
vii) General Science.
viii) Public Administration and Development Issues.
ix) Freedom Movement & Indian Union.
x) Current Events of National and International Importance.
Important -
(i) The category-wise minimum level of suitability in interviews, irrespective of whether the selection is made only by interview or by Recruitment Test followed by interview, will be UR/EWS-50 marks, OBC-45 marks, SC/ST/PwBD-40 marks, out of the total marks of interview being 100.
(ii) In cases where selection is made by Recruitment Test (RT) followed by interview, the candidate will have to achieve minimum level of suitability in their respective category at Interview stage.
