UPSC Recruitment 2022 – Notification Out for 339 NDA & NA (II) Posts
Dear Candidates,
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has published the notification for COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICES EXAMINATION (II), 2022 on 18th May. Now, unmarried male and female candidates can submit their application for National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA)-II Exam 2022 on upsconline.nic.in before 7th June 2022.
The commission has 339 seats for admission to the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun/Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala/Air Force Academy, Hyderabad/Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai (Madras)— 118th SSC (Men) & 32nd SSC Women (NT) (UPSC) Course commencing in October, 2023.

Before that UPSC NDA I Exam 2022 notification released on 22 December 2021. Therefore candidates have got one more chance to join UPSC NDA II Exam 2022. UPSC NDA II Exam will be held in September 2022.

Note: Vacancies are temporary and subject to change depending on the availability of National Defense Academy and Naval Academy training capacity.
Qualification -
- For I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy: Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.
- For Indian Naval Academy: Degree in Engineering from a recognized University/Institution.
- For Air Force Academy: Degree of a recognized University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering
Age Limit (as on 01.07.2023) -
- For IMA & Indian Naval Academy: Candidates born not earlier than 02-07-1999 and not later than 01-07-2004
- For Air Force Academy: 20 to 24 Years (Candidates born not earlier than 02-07-1999 and not later than 01-07-2003
Selection Process:
Candidates for the recruitment will be selected on the following basis:
- Written Exam
- SSB Interview/Personality Test

Exam Pattern:
1. The Competitive examination comprises:
(a) Written examination as shown in para 2 below.
(b) Interview for intelligence and personality test (vide Part ‘B’ of this Appendix) of such candidates as may be called for interview at one of the Services Selection Centers.
2. The subjects of the written examination, the time allowed and the maximum marks allotted to each subject will be as follows:
(a) For Admission to Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Air Force Academy:—

The maximum marks allotted to the written examination and to the interviews will be equal for each course i.e. the maximum marks allotted to the written examination and to the interviews will be 300, 300, 300 and 200 each for admission to the Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officers’ Training Academy respectively.
