Uttarakhand Post Office 724 (GDS) Post Recruitment 2020

The Uttarakhand Rural Postal Service Department presents invites online applications from interested and eligible candidates for 724 posts of Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS), Postal Master, and Assistant Postal Master.

The selection of candidates will be according to the merit list to be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the 10th standard.

• Starting date for online application- 8th June 2020
• Last date for online application- 7th July 2020
• There will be no written examination or interview for Uttarakhand Post Circle Recruitment 2020.

Explain that for this recruitment, the candidates will have to submit the application form online and the application fee will also be submitted through online payment modes.

Recruitment Details - Salary, Age, Selection Process, Application Fee

• Selected candidates will be appointed at the Branch Post Office, India Post Payment Bank (IPPB). 
• Gramin Dak Sevak will have to do the work assigned by the Post Master or Assistant Postmaster like sale of stamps/stationery, convention and delivery of post etc. 

Applicants are advised to check the official notification of the Indian Postal Department for recruitment eligibility and conditions.

Age Relaxation:

• 5 years relaxation for SC / ST candidates.
• 3 years for OBC candidates.
• 10 years for PwD candidates.
• 13-year discount for PwD + OBC candidates.
• 15-year discount for PwD + SC / ST candidates.
• No age relaxation for EWS candidates.

Salary (TRCA):

The selected candidates will be given the following minimum TRCA, according to the categories of Gramin Dak Sevak-

Note- However, in respect of GDSs placed on or after 01.07.2018, the TRCA will be preliminarily determined in the first stage of Level-I of the respective category.

Selection Procedure:

• Candidates for the job will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in their 10th standard by merit.
• No weightage will be given for higher educational qualifications. 
• Only the marks obtained in the 10th standard of approved board collected for the percentage of accuracy of 4 decimals will be the criteria for finalizing the selection.
• Candidates with both marks and grades in the marks list will have to apply with marks only. 
• If a candidate applies only with grades, his/her application is liable to be disqualified.

Application Fee:

The application fee amount for the recruitment of GDS posts in Uttarakhand Postal Circle varies as per the categories are as follows:

• For General/OBC/EWS Male/Trans Man candidates - Rs. 100/-
• For SC/ ST/ PH and Female candidates - Nil

Candidates can pay application fees through e-Mitra Kiosk, BHIM UPI, Net Banking, Credit, or Debit Card.
