RSMSSB Notification 2020 - Applications Reopened for Stenographer Recruitment!!

Dear Candidates,

We’re thrilled to announce that the Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Services Selection Board (RSMSSB) has invited online applications from candidates for direct recruitment on 1211 vacancies of stenographers for the subordinate departments and offices of the state government.

RSMSSB Stenographer Combined Direct Recruitment Examination 2018

Originally, the RSMSSB Stenographer Recruitment Notification was released on 4th July 2018 on the official website. But due to some technical reasons, the application process was stopped but it has started again after three years. 

Now, the new applicants can apply in this one-month duration while the old candidates do not need to submit the application form again. However, they will be provided with the facility to amend their previous online forms.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online by checking the guidelines issued by the board on the official website (https://rsmssb.rajasthan.gov.in/). Important dates of online application are as follows:

Note: The above posts include carry forward (SC-07, ST-06) total of 13 backlog vacancies.

Age Relaxation Provision:

  • Due to non-conducting of the recruitment for the last three years, the candidates of all categories will be given a further relaxation of 3 years in the maximum age limit.
  • 5 years relaxation for general category women.
  • 5 years relaxation for SC, ST, OBC, OBC male candidates who are permanent residents of Rajasthan, 
  • 10 years relaxation for women candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Backward Classes, who are permanent residents of Rajasthan.

Contributory Pension:

The contributory pension scheme will be applicable for newly recruited employees as per rules.

Educational Qualification:

  • Senior Secondary (12th) passed or its equivalent from a recognized board.
  • "O" or higher-level certificate course.
  • Certificate Course on Computer Concept by National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), New Delhi.

OR

  • COPA/ DPCS Certificate or Degree/ Diploma/ Computer Science/ Certificate in Computer Application.

Selection Process -

The selection of the candidates will be as follows: -

  • Written Exam
  • Stenography Test

Question Paper Phase-I

  • All the questions in the question paper will be objective type.
  • The total number of questions will be 150 (General Hindi 75 questions, General English 75 questions).
  • All questions will have the same marks.
  • For the wrong answer to a particular question, 1/3 of the integer will be deducted from the marks obtained by the candidate.
