IBPS PO bank exam dates, syllabus and eligibility- 2015
Institute of Banking Personnel Selection released notification on the latest 5th IBPS PO exam for PO/MT Posts in public sector bank.
IBPS has been entrusted with task of conducting, evaluating and publishing results for all India common test to facilitate filling of bank jobs.
Candidates clearing the test will be called for common interviews following which they have to register for preference order among the participating 23 public sector banks.
Date of exam:-
Online registration- 10 july – 1 august, 2015
PO/MT preliminary exam- 3,4, 10 & 11 october, 2015
Mains exam– 31st october, 2015
IBPS new exam pattern and syllabus:-
IBPS department scheduled PO/MT V & Clerk V exam in two levels Tier 1 and Tier 2. Tier 1 is as preliminary exam and tier 2 as mains exam. IBPS Pre Exam Pattern contains fewer objective type questions with shorter duration.
1. Pre examination of IBPS exam have some short and multi choice questions (MCQ) from both subjects reasoning , English , quantitative aptitude. Time duration will be 1 hour

Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualifications Common for Office Assistants and Officers: Degree from a recognised university.
Age limit:
Age will be counted as on 01 June 2015.
For Office Assistants: 18-28 years
For Officer Scale 1: 18-28 years
For Officer Scale 2: 21-32 years
For Officer Scale 3: 21-40 years
Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST candidates
3 years for OBC
10 years for PWD
Application Fees/ Intimation Charges [Payable from 10th July 2015 to 01st August 2015 (Online payment), both dates inclusive, shall be as follows
– Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
– Rs. 600 /- for all others
