1. Lord Shri Devnarayan Ji, the worshipable deity of the Gurjar caste who is said to be the incarnation of Lord Vishnu, was born in Malaseri on the Saptami day of Magh Shukla in Vikram Samvat 968. One of the most venerated fairs of Rajasthan, the Kaila Devi fair is held at the temple of Kaila Devi in Karauli. The temple is situated on the banks of the river kalisi in karauli district of Rajasthan. Kaila Devi fair is held in Hindu month Chaitra which happens to be in March or April.
