Sagarmal Gopa (1900 - 1946) was an Indian freedom fighter and patriot. He was a resident of Rajasthan.

Sitabari Fair (Kelwara – Bandra)

This fair fills on Jyeshtha Amavasya. This fair is called “Kumbh of Sahariya tribe”. Hadoti is the biggest fair of the region.

1. The state tree of Rajasthan is Khejri. This tree is found in about two-thirds of the total geographical area of the state and has great importance culturally and economically.

2. The scientific name of Khejri is Prosopis cinerea. It is a drought-tolerant tree that can survive even in areas with low rainfall. This tree is found in desert areas and is found in abundance in the Thar Desert of Rajasthan.

5. He bravely protected his kingdom from the attacks of the Mughal emperors of Delhi, Gujarat and Malwa. He was the most powerful Hindu king of that time.

11. Mughal emperor Babar defeated the Rajput army led by Rana Sanga of Mewar in the Battle of Khanwa (Bharatpur) in 1527.

12. Babar described him as the greatest Indian king of that time.

13. He was poisoned by his own nobles and died in Kalpi in 1528.

14. He was succeeded by his son Ratan Singh II.

15. Rana Sanga's nicknames include ruins of humans (due to many wounds), ruins of soldiers, part of a soldier, Hindupat etc.

16. Maharana Sanga defeated Babar's army in the battle of Bayana.

1. Although Rajasthan is not rich in this mineral, the deposits available are of high quality (hematite and magnetite).

2. Most of the ore found in the form of hematite is found in small deposits which were mined uneconomically.

3. Some magnetites are also found at various places.

4. Iron ore in the state is found in the north-eastern and south-eastern parts of the state.
